Celebrating Her Service: Anita Curtis

Beloved elder animal communicator Anita Curtis died on March 9, 2025. She practiced professionally for over three decades. I wrote a tribute in honor of her long service in this article based on an interview I’d done with her for Species Link journal in 2005. It tells about how she discovered animal communication and where that led her.

Even with Parkinson’s disease taking its toll, she continued doing consultations for the many people who found her service so valuable.

Many seasoned animal communicators who trained with me in the 1970s-90s have journeyed home to the spiritual realm in recent years. These treasured communicators include Jeri Ryan, with whom Anita trained before she came to my advanced courses. Their impact worldwide on the field of animal communication is profound, as their clients and students attest. I’m grateful for them and those they trained who continue their good work.
